Designer Shoelight...Gianvito Rossi

Gosh it's been so long since I posted A "Designer Shoelight". The last one was on January! Anyway, this section is basically one where I feature shoe brands that are either new, not so heard of OR aren't as talked about and worshiped as the Choos, the Blahniks and the Louboutins! It's time we appreciate all those other fabulous shoe labels out there! Hopefully I can do this more often!
Today's shoelight will be: Gianvito Rossi.

New Shoes...New Look Black Peeptoe Pumps With Studs

This pair is part of the four-pair loot i mentioned in this post. Hey, can you blame me for going a liiiiittle bit overboard on their two plus one sale in New Look? :)
I love a good pair of black peeptoe pumps - I just realized that I don't really have any in my shoe collection. They go so well with anything especially when you can't think of any shoes to wear with an outfit. Plus the studs add a little bit of pizazz to the shoe - not to much that it makes the shoe look TOO trendy and edgy, but just enough to make it current and sassy.

Love the studs! Also love the heel height! Their sizes are also always consistent, I always get the same ones every time I buy new Look Shoes. But I do have to admit that these ones fit just right - meaning they are a bit snug. But I figure if I get a size up, it would be too loose and I would have a hard time walking already. This one is just fine, I just have to stretch it out a bit.

I checked their online store, I couldnt find these in blac…

Sole Society Stella Pumps

How cute are these peeptoes? For starters, I really love the yellow color. Well not just the yellow color but the fact that it's combined with this kind of snakeskin texture. (I think if the shoe didn't have any textures and was just plain yellow, it wouldn't be as special and unique) The peeptoes are awesome and the bow is so pretty too! (There I go again, bows!)

These are from Sole Society available in Nordstrom, an online exclusive. They are pretty affordable too!

Charlotte Olympia Masquerade Satin Peeptoe

How quirky are these charlotte olympia shoes? First she made shoes that had cats then lips and no she has shoes that cry! Haha, pretty funny actually. I'm not sre I woud wear them though, but I couldnt NOT show them here in the blog. you have to admit they are pretty unique.

They are actually a pretty pair of sandals too : heel height is great, I love the ankle strap and the black and white combination. Plus the mask design would make for a great conversation piece while out and about. So, I might reconsider wearing them after all. Now if only I had the big bucks.

A Pretty Pair to Brighten Up Your Day...Asos Hello Heeled Sandal

How has your Monday treatin y'all so far? Hope you guys get rid of your Monday blues with this pretty pair of shoes to brighten your day:

These are from Asos. I know I have probably shown  enough tan/nude sandals with diamante studs but I just had to include these because they are sooo pretty. I really love that it's a "delicate" sandal (my term for shoes that don't have a platform, have some slinky sexy straps and a good 'ol fashioned stiletto heel)

I love that the peep toe is so far front - this will make the feet look longer and thinner. I also love the crisscross straps ad of course, the nude and diamante stud combination.

Random Shoe post

Some random shoe images for this week.

This is the tagline or "quote" of a shoe store named Rubi Shoes. Love it! pretty much sums up my shoe sentiment. haha

One of my friends posted this on my facebook wall. I am now loving the new meaning of PMS. Haha, right now I'm totalling PMSing!
Which brings me to this next photo:

I say no high can ever compare to that of buying a new pair of shoes. Or two. Or FOUR. yikes! Can you blame me for wanting to partake in New Look's special offering of buy two take one free promo? Shall upload pictures soon.

Lastly, one of my best friends ever gave me this awesome scotch tape dispenser. Said she thought of me the moment she saw it! Aww, I have the best-est friends! But how awesome is this right? What a great office accessory.
Hope you guys all had a shoe filled day and will have a great weekend!

A Shoe of Day...Qupid

I wore these shoes out a few days ago.

These are by Qupid, an affordable label that I found at a random online store. I actually bought these shoes a few years ago but I still love them! I hardly wear them though, which is why I decided to take them out for a spin a few days ago! I really love the frills, such a unique concept!

I hope you guys have a shoe filled day!

Nicholas Kirkwood Black Booties

Since most you out there are slowly starting to transition into fall, let me take this opportunity to showcase these pair of cool booties by Nicholas Kirkwood.

It's clearly not your usual black bootie, look at that unusual heel, Isn't it fabuloous? I love the gorgeous detail plus the way that the heel "falls" and is curvy shaped. To add to the plain blak color, there is a little stripe down the front which I love!

Definitely a great shoe!

Carven Baby Blue Bow Embellished Suede Pumps

I can NOT get enough of these Carven shoes. First I had these in an "An outfit for these shoes" post, in it's red patent version. Then I wrote about the peeptoe slingback version of these back in January.

And now, they had to come out with these gorgeous gorgeous baby blue color...why oh why???

The bow in the back is just so perfect. Such a pretty pair!

If I had lots of money to burn, i would feel compelled to buy ALL of the colors. Gosh how smart are these shoe manufacturers, teasing us slowly with different versions and colors of a pretty style of shoe? sigh.
Good thing I couldn't even afford them in the first place.
If you can afford them, then find them HERE

Aldo Gonce Wedges

I haven't seen a pair of wedges that I like in awhile. At first when I saw these wedges I thought the lines across it were some gold piping. When I looked up close, I was a tad bit disappointed to see that the lines were actually cork. After looking at it for awhile though, I realized that it's not too bad. I think it has just the right amount of peeptoe plus i love the t-strap and the height.

What do you guys think of these wedges? Would you wear them?

Weird Shoe Wednesday...Skull Shoes

I actually really love this shoe! Weird Shoe Wednesdays is a section where I showcase unusual and unique shoes. This particular pair is awesome, becuase well look at all the skulls all over it! It's a little bit creepy don't you think, but then Alexander McQueen did start this skull craze so it's not just appropriate for halloween but also for daily wear now.

It's not just the skulls that are cool in this shoe, I also love the shape and the arch and the very high heel! It's actually a pretty decent pair of pumps when you think about it!
Would you guys wear these?

Jeffrey Campbell Midler Platform Pumps

Totally love these shoes. There's something about the combination of suede, blush or nude color plus a little sparkle that makes a shoe look oh-so-pretty. In fact, I have already blogged about a similar shoe from Zara that has all those combinations I mentioned. I just couldn't resist blogging these too!

I love that they are so high! It also has a little bit of a platform so that it will be easier to balance. These are Jeffrey Campbell from Nasty Gal.

Wishing you guys a shoe-filled fabulous Sunday!
