Nicholas Kirkwood Zaha Suede pumps

I always love a pair with an interesting heel. This pair by Nicholas Kirkwood features a see through heel that has like an ombre effect and gold details. It looks perfect with the basic black suede of the uppers of the shoe. Each element of the shoe just balances everything out. What do you guys think of this pair?

8 Pairs of Chic Beach Appropriate Footwear

With temperatures soaring lately, one can't help but dream about the beach and lounging around poolside. I certainly can't wait to bust out those chic maillots, decadent caftans and cover-ups and of course, beach appropriate footwear. I'm honestly not a huge fan of flip flops and ordinary looking slippers unless I REALLY have to wear them. Like for going to the beach. Obviously, one can't exactly wear designer stiletto heels - unless you don't care them getting wet or ruined by pool or sea water.

For this type of occasion, waterproof footwear is a must. You can still look luxe and chic with the right kind of styles that are still perfect for the beach or poolside. Think metallic flipflops like these ones from Michael Kors and Havaianas, or thongs with gorgeous embellishments from Daniel. Waterproof rubber slides also work and there is so much variety out there with different price ranges like ones from Topshop to a high end brand one like Miu Miu . You can even go…

Prada Feather Embellished Satin Mules

Isn't this pair just one of the most darling ones you've seen lately? The light greetn wisps of fur against the metallic gray just makes the whole shoe look so pretty, whimsical and Carrie Bradshaw-ish. Don't you think so? I say Carrie Bradshaw because she is probably the only one to set the trend of wearing this out and about on a normal day. And I think any of us can too - I'm already imagining this with so many different outfits! you can dress it down in jeans and some loose tailored shorts and blouse. Wear with  midi length dresses and even with an LBD for a slightly dressier look! What do you guys think of this pair?
