Olivia Palermo for Aquazzura Collaboration

Knee High Boots

One of my favorite shoe brands has collaborated with one of favorite style icons. How exciting is that? Aquazzura, a shoe brand started by Edgardo Osorio is know for it's chic, single soled shoes. His aesthetics, the way I see it is minimalist but with touches of glam and elegance. Olivia Palermo is a style icon to thousands of girls including me. She looks good in practically anything she wears and has gotten to be known for being a mix master (whether it's mixing prints, high and low fashion etc..). She almost always has a pair of fabulous heels on and  more often than not, is seen in Aquazzura creations. Thus a collaboration between the two was inevitable.

Bionda Castana Alexandra

I'm really loving the color combination of this shoe. The green at the back part is just so lovely, and the prints add an interesting mix to the overall look of the shoe. The thin cord that crosses over and lands as an ankle strap ties in all the chicness that is found in this pair.

Alexandre Birman

It's been awhile since I featured a pair of blocked heel. I think that they are such a great alternative to stilettos, and a comfier choice too! Loving this pair  by Alexandre Birman, with the wooden heels and the differently textured uppers. Which color combinations are your favorites?

Sala Chaussures Look Book Part2

The Pegasus

Here is Part 2 of the Sala Chaussures Lookbook. I showed you guys part 1 which had most designs from the Spring/Summer Collection. This post covers mostly the shoes from the Holiday Collection. The Winged Pump, which we named The Pegasus is perfect to wear with a skirt and a thigh high slit. It also looks great with a variety of outfits. The Hera D'orsay features a peacock feather with a gorgeous cerulean color. The Frangipani Pump, is pink with a satin texture. This part of the photo shoot was one of my favorites as we dressed up the model with a gorgeous princessy-gown. The photos came out so whimsical and fairytale-like!

Sala Chaussures Lookbook Part 1

I just wanted to share the shots of our photo shoot for my shoe line Sala Chaussures. This look book is for the first half of the year. The shoes featured in this post are a mix of our Holiday 2013 collection and Spring/Summer 2014. The Holiday 2013 collection is all about Greek mythology characters. The Atalanta Red pumps have a gorgeous bow on them - representing the Greek warrior Atalanta. For the Spring/Summer 2014 collection, it is all about the jungle dwellers. We have the Kiskadee pumps which is a yellow peep toe that has a dangling tassel. The Kiskadee is actually a ind of  yellow bird. The Cascabel pumps has a nude peeptoe and a snakeskin textured back and heel. The Cascabel is a kind of a rattle snake. The San Rem Damselfly (female dragonfly) is the only pair of flats this season, features some pretty embellished stones and a damselfly on a metallic thong sandal. We also have the Okapi barely there sandals, a purple crisscross peeptoe with a zebra ankle strap. The Okapi is a near mythical creature that lives in Kenya. it has the form of a horse but with it's hindquarters as a zebra. Pretty cool huh?

For the in-between seasons, which is like our Resort 2014 collection, we have the Coquette Weekender. This pair has a thicker heel for maximum comfort. The uppers are in pale pink and it comes with a pretty satin black bow that you can tie around your ankles!

Hope you enjoyed our lookbook! I will be posting part two of the shoot, there were so many gorgeous photos and also other shoe styles that I want to show.

Christian Louboutin Pifalle Satin Pumps

We've got the Christian Louboutin Pigalle Pumps, now we've got the Pifalle! I still love this shoe style - the arch is still beautiful and the overall shape and structure is still great! I'm loving the satin and the watercolor print - the purple is just too pretty.
