Nothing super special about the style really, i think every other shoe has this same style, i mean 'cause its a current style. I think the picture and the way the shoe was portrayed made it look extra special. The color is gorgeous and you can imagine perfectly manicured red toes peeking out from it, and of course the height is killer.
These flats are from the resort collections. they're both so pretty! photocredit: neimanmarcus.com
upon closer inspection of this particular jeweled ballerina at neimanmarcus.com, i saw that the jewels were the type that's easy to find! I bet it will be totally easy to DIY this shoe! But i'm soooooo not a creative person, I prefer to choose, buy and own pretty things as opposed to making them, and every DIY attempt i make always ends up in a mess! haha..and besides to DIY this shoe would be totally sacrilegious to Miu Miu! I absolutely loooove Miu Miu shoes! I wouldn't want to make a knock-off!
I am absolutely in love with shoes that have bows. will do a separate post on my love affair with shoes that have bows, in the meantime feast your eyes on this pair:

I love how the blue green satin-y ribbon complements the simple black strppy stiletto. sooo so, sooo pretty!
This is by Gianvito Rossi. He is the son of Sergio Rossi. Their family must be full of shoe addicts! Shoe is in the blood... found this from a short article i read at vogue.com. (http://www.style.com/vogue/voguedaily/2009/11/meet-gianvito-rossi-he-makes-the-shoes-youll-want-come-spring/)
Gianvito's style is a lot simpler and sleek but very, very chic. Definitely someone to look out for!
