Accessories I've Worn Lately And Where To get Them

ACCESSORIZING LATELY WITH MOSTLY LOCAL FILIPINO INDEPENDENT BRANDS

Sharing some ways I have been accessorizing my outfits. I am wearing mostly items from smaller and more independent local Filipino brands! I think accessories make such a huge impact on outfits and I have been collecting over the years because I am a huge lover of it! I really love finding some that are from independent and artisanal brands. The accessories featured here in this post are are all mostly Filipino made and designed but I also try to make it a point to hunt for ones when I am out of the country!

Like I mentioned, a  lot of these I accumulated over the years so they might not be available but I am including a link to their pages so that you can check out the brand and what else they are making - who knows, you might find more amazing stuff!

This scarf was a gift from a good friend. This is artwork by local artist Van Silverio Canencia that was turned into a scarf and features my initials too! Seriously one of the best gifts I got! The brooch holding the scarf was also a gift from my sister that she got in Prague, Czech Republic. It is a mythical creature from Greek mythology called the ouroboros.

I have been wearing this crab bag a lot lately! I recently discovered Arte Ni Juana and they make all these cute novelty woven bags in beautiful colours like this crab and also the swan below. I love that they also have causes to support! Every time you buy a bag they state in the tag which cause you are supporting with the purchase of the bag. I do love a meaningful fashion purchase!
