I got this COS skirt on sale on a trip some time ago and have barely worn it. My excuse is that it's the covid era now so I haven't really had the chance to wear it. I thought I would feature it on my "The Many Ways To Style and Wear" series so that I will be challenged to come out with many different outfits and finally get to wear it more often! I was able to find 11 looks and I'm now so excited to wear them all out. It's made me appreciate this skirt a lot more. It really is such a gorgeous piece - one that I would keep forever! It has a great style and falls down so beautifully and has a slight puffy texture and gorgeous waistline. It reminds me of a fifties skirt - perfect because I LOVE fifties fashion. Check out my 11 looks for some outfit ideas!
Outfit #1
For this first outfit I'm wearing a vintage blouse (my grandmother's), a big white belt cinched at the waist and some barely there stilettos heels. I feel like this look has the most 50s vibe!
Outfit #2
I thought a dark yellow would look great with the khaki. Wearing with a black velvet head band and an Indian gold bangle with some barely there stilettos again.
Outfit #3
Stripes and espadrilles would go so well with this skirt! My espadrilles broke so I wore these samples from my shoe line Sala Chaussures instead. They look the closest to espadrilles!
Outfit#4
I'm wearing a simple black button down tied at the waist and some huge statement earrings.
Outfit#5
I feel like this look is so "Roman Holiday" looking! Do you guys see it? Wearing a white button down with a belt cinched at the waist and my Sala Chaussures swandals for my own take on one of Audrey Hepburn's famous movie looks.
Outfit #6
I thought an all neutral look with a pop of green with my earrings and some metallic heels would look understated yet chic!
Outfit #7
I feel like red and khaki always go so well together! I'm wearing this combination with a headband and my Sala Chaussures Veronica kitten heels.
Outfit #8
In this 8th look, I'm featuring a light blue top and snakeskin flats with some statement bangles as accessories.
Outfit #9
I'm using/trying out a trick I learned from some style bloggers on Instagram - making a faux cropped top by tucking in the ends of the shirt under my bra. It's a genius hack! I've been looking for the perfect cropped top to wear with high waist bottoms, I now don't have to go out and buy one!
Outfit #10
Another look I've been experimenting a lot more lately is a dress over bottoms looks. I feel like it looks so chic with a skirt that's slight puffy like these,. I also feel like it look so "fashion". I finished this look with a belt and some pumps!
Outfit #11
I'm wearing another vintage printed top and tying it at the waist to add more interesting texture and this time adding a pop of color with my shoes.
What do you guys think?
