Is it just me or am I starting to see more and more designers incorporating bamboo elements into their designs? I just posted about some
Gult Gaia heels that featured bamboo textured heels and now here we have these Jil Sander Flats. Another thing I'm seeing a lot are the shape and structure. I've seen a lot of pointy flats shaped like these - where the "v" is often further up towards the ankle and does not show much cleavage. I guess it's the "in" shape now. I'm not sure which designer started that trend, Celine perhaps?
I kind of really like these Jil Sander ones though because the bamboo ankle strap makes the shoe dainty looking and also that much more interesting. The neutral and "plain" flat is elevated with that little design element. What do you guys think?
