Brooches have long been a favorite accessory of mine. I feel like they don't get as much exposure as other accessories like earrings and bags. They are a gorgeous addition to any outfit and I've discovered that they can be worn or styled up in so many ways. I've mostly been wearing them pinned to my tops but lately I've been experimenting and looking for other ways to wear them. I actually found 8 different ways to wear brooches. I think it is such a great way to refresh your outfits! Wearing brooches in different scenarios is also a way to have brand new looking outfits all the time without actually having to buy so many clothes! A plain white shirt and jeans combo could be elevated with a huge brooch party in your top or a plain black dress could look more "fashion" with a belt/sash held together by brooches. 1. Worn In Your Top
The most "normal" and most usual way is to wear it on your top right or left corner of your chest. A tip is to pin it on your top ahead before you wear it. That way you can position it ahead and seeing how it looks versus fumbling with it whilst wearing your shirt.
2. On the waistband of your pants, skirt and shorts
One of my favorite ways to wear brooches! I love how it looks so chic when you put one or several on the waistband of your bottoms! Experiment with shorts, skirts and pants!
3.On Sash Belt
One chic way to secure a sash belt : pin it with brooches!
4. Scrunched up in skirt/shirt
You can totally have a whole new item in your closet just by doing this simple act. Scrunch up a plain t-shirt or a skirt with a brooch or two to upgrade any piece of clothing. A whole new look for almost zero effort!
5. Scarf in Neck
Elevate your scarves by pinning pretty little brooches. It's also a great way to secure flailing pieces of cloth!
6. Pin it on plain hair bands
No need to spend a pretty penny on fancy schmancy embellished hair bands. DIY it and get created with what brooches or pins you have with plain bands. The beauty of doing it yourself is that you can change it up any way you want!
Gather several brooches and put them all together in one new look. Arm parties and necklace parties are everywhere but what about a brooch party? It just as much fun and as stylish!
8. Wear as a pendant
Yet another way to cut costs. Create and design your own jewelry with whatever existing necklace and brooch you have. Mix and match to your heart's content!

I really love this! It's said that brooches aren't more of a trend these days. But they always make me think of my grandmother who has a great collection of them and wears them regularly, which I always associated with style and elegance.
