Designer Shoelight...Aruna Seth

For this month's Designer Shoelight, er I mean spotlight...I will be writing about Aruna Seth. If you remember I featured one of her shoes not too long ago here, and for me,  they were one of the most gorgeous pairs I've seen in awhile!

Aruna Seth is a British designer. Her trademark shoe is the butterfly embellished pump or the Farfalla as it's called. There are so many colors to chose from. The butterfly is the symbol of freedom and Aruna Seth shoes are definitely the kind that women wear out to get noticed. Aruna Seth is also into the fine details and she sees them more than a matter of embellishment.

Each description of her shoes says : " made with Aruna Seth padding for cashmere like comfort" This goes to show that not only are her shoes beautifully designed, they are also beautifully made and comfortable. Aruna Seth said that she always used to buy really expensive designer shoes before and they would never be comfortable. It was then she knew that she wanted to make exquisite show-stoppers that won't hurt the feet after hours of weaing. Pads are placed strategically all around the shoe to give maximum comfort. This is why her shoes are popular with brides as they know they can go a long way into the night with them.
