Unusual Shoes...Nicholas Kirkwood

These are by Nicholas Kirkwod. A lot of thoughts run through my head when I see this shoe: it reminds me f an embroidery, tapestry, sofa, a teacup (i dunno why maybe it's the shape of the heel put together with the rest of the shoe?), the mad hatter, a prince's shoe...  what other itmens can you guys think of when you see them?

Still, even with the ""un-usualness" of it all, I can't help but notice all these beautiful details. The little bow at the back of the shoe located at the top heel is a nice surprise. The beading, embroidery and colors are just gorgeous. Plus it looks so nice and delicate that it's on mesh. Also the little gold lines put togther with the black just pulls the whole look of the shoe together.

The first time I saw these shoes, I thought to myself: hmmm, theyre unusual and pretty unique but I wouldn't wear them. Now, after analyzing and breaking down all the features and details of the shoe I realized that I WOULD wear these after all! Now, if only I had the big bucks to spend...

    Wow, there is a LOT going on here! The embroidery! The unusual heel material! The bow! The heel shape! And yet somehow, it all feels kind of subtle -- how interesting!

    I kind of like it....but only from the back.
    The heel and that adorable bow are too cute not to love but I am having mixed feelings about the embroidery...
