I'm checking out what's currently in stores on the high street, and today I'm taking a look at Zara. I've been a Zara shopper since 2003, and over the years there have been seasons when I've found plenty of great pieces and others that have been a bit underwhelming. This season, my first impression wasn't particularly positive—I didn't think the collection was all that exciting. However, the more time I spent browsing the store, the more I discovered a few standout items, and I actually ended up picking up several pieces.

I almost always shop Zara during sale season. Although it's often marketed as an affordable brand, I still think the prices can be a wee bit on the expensive side for high-street fashion. Plus, because I'm outside Spain, the prices are even higher, which makes those sale discounts all the more worthwhile!. I always find a lot of really good stuff when sale season comes around - if you are interested, you can check these videos here , here, here, here, here and here. However, this time I decided to stop by the store, and I was pleasantly surprised. After having a proper look around, I managed to find a few really nice pieces that I felt were reasonably priced, even at full price.
