11 Outfit Ideas For A Black Structured Smocked Statement Top

I recently got this statement smocked top from a local Filipino brand, Good Luck Humans. I absolutely love buying from local brands because they are unique and all very well made. I've always been more of an indie brand kind of girl with my accessories but in the last couple years, I've discovered that we have a lot of really great ones in the clothing side as well. Hopefully I can do a post soon on indie Filipino brands but for now, it's all about this black top.

Though it's a plain black top, it screams statement with the smocking and the wide and structured shoulders. It is such a chic piece. Sometimes I worry about pieces being too "statement" as they usually either go with very few items or look super noticeable when you wear it repeatedly.  This is why I've started this series where I style up different pieces of clothing in 11 different ways. Just to prove that, hey you CAN get the maximum use out of all the pieces you own! It's such a  shame to wear some pieces only once or twice just because you think they don't go with a lot of other things or hold yourself from buying them because you can't think of ways to wear them.
