Today's outfit was built around these Karl Lagerfeld pumps. I absolutely love these pumps! They are the perfect classic, but not so plain pumps. Additionally, they are super comfortable! They have height but are actually not vertiginous in anyway! Also, despite the not so high heel, the shoe still maintains a really gorgeous proportioned shape and arch. The best part about these shoes : I got these in a Bloomingdales outlet so they were very, VERY price friendly! I love these so much and I have been wearing them a lot.
The outfit for today was this rather eighties sorta look blouse tucked into jeans. My inspiration wasn't actually really the eighties to begin with. I just happened to have this amazing top that I found thrifting. It was a true gem of a find really. I first saw it while thrifting with a friend but did not get right away. However I couldn't stop thinking about it and went back a few days after. Thank goodness it was still there and it was half off the original price! I love that when it e! The top is in a dark blue navy color and features thin white vertical pin stripes all over. The sleeve features a little cuffed sleeve and the overall shirt gives off a rather boxy vibe. It looks SO good in a variety of outfits!
Anyways, I decided to tuck it in these light colored baggy "Mom" jeans that had these cool details like the semi frayed ends and a vertical line down the middle in each pant leg.
I thought there was still something missing from the outfit so i cinched my waist with the belt. This was when I thought the outfit kind of looked like it was giving off an eighties vibe- what with the light colored jeans and boxy top and big earrings. I topped it off with some plain black sunglasses and these two tone earrings that I found at a local handicraft shop here in my hometown.
