Oscar Tiye was founded by Jordanian Designer Amina Muaddi together with her business partner Irina Curutz. The high end luxury shoe line was started in Milan in 2013.
“Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world” is Amina Muaddi's mantra. Her shoes, made of only the finest leathers and fabrics is dictated by purism :

You can see that desire to create the perfect shoe in her designs : the sleek lines, gorgeous arches, beautiful heel heights and chic designs. The brand's logo is a scarab, which is a scared symbol in the Arab world that represents luck and happy events. The scarab as a precious jewel, was given by the pharaoh Amenhotehp to Queen Tiye. Speaking of the queen - this is also where the brand's name comes from. Oscar is a composition of all her family member's names.
Their signature design the "Malikah" features the scarab that looks like it's about to take flight. Several versions and colors and prints have been made o this pair. It has such a sleek and "barely there" design which I absolutely love!
