Bridal Shoe Ideas

Badgley Mischka

I have had so many friends get married lately. As a shoe lover I  thought it my duty to post a selection of bridal shoes (even if I, my self am nowhere near a bride).I researched on a ton of options and found so many beautfufl ones that I think I even want to wear these pairs on a normal basis!

I have come up with three categories : The Traditional, Formal Comfort and Non-Traditional. Each bride is different and have different ideas and notions on what shoes to wear on their special day so I hope any of these choices will appeal to every kind of bride out there! Traditional

These pairs are the ones that follow the usual color palette of a bride. Mainly whites and nudes in stains and embellishments. A lot of beautiful Badgley Mischka shoes (they have some of the best bridal and evening wear shoes) and also pairs by Nina and Betsey Johnson.

Formal Comfort

Like I said, each bride is different. I know some who would love to wear the highest heel possible, but I also know some who want to be comfortable during their wedding day. There are several pairs out there that are comfortable and still beautiful and "bride-like looking". These pairs are in the form of flow heels, wedges and low wedges like this pair by Nina below.

Non-Traditional

By non-traditional, I mean pairs that are not in the usual bridal colors ad styles. These pairs are the hot pinks and electric blues. Remember Carrie Bradshaw's blue Manolos in the first Sex and the City movie? I think a lot of brides these days are representing their "Something Blue" in their shoes! I personally think that having a bright pop of color by way of the shoe is a great idea! Any of these shoes would look amazing with a white bridal dress or even a champagne one!
