Collections : Gaetano Perrone Spring/Summer 2015

Gaetano Perrone's Spring Summer 2015 collection is a little bit surprising. Where as most spring collections are normally filled with lots of color and pastels and prints, Perrone's is opposite of all the usual Spring designs. The collection is composed of mostly silver, metallic and dark colors in stingray textures.

Not that there is anything wrong with that, I find it refreshing to see dark colors in spring (I mean I myself wear black all year round). It's great that we don't have to wait for the Fall collections to be able to wear these colors. The nice part about the dark colors is that they are not in boring black - rather, they are in interesting textures mixed with lovely metallics. The collection is made up mostly of heels and with his signature outer platform in the heels. It also features one or two loafers that are still in the gorgeous metallic and stingray texture.
