Shoed or Shoed not : Elle Striped Heels with Bows

Bringing back a series that I started a long time ago but never updated. It's called Shoed or Shoed Not?

In this shoe section I will be featuring shoes that I like at first glance but upon closer inspection, makes me think twice about it. Thus the Shoed or Shoed not? question. 

This pair is by Elle and all of its elements , separately are ones that I love so much. I love the stripes.  I love ankle straps. I love bows. Yet when you place all of them together, it does not look quite right. I feel like the bow looks too flat and big and awkwardly positioned on the side. If it were placed at the back, maybe it would look nicer. I think the shoe would look a lot better sans bow. It has a pretty good shape and would have looked like a classic striped shoe. And then, we come and see the heel and I'm not pleased to see it looks rather short. If they were a litter higher they would be great!
