One of my favorite shoe brands has collaborated with one of favorite style icons. How exciting is that? Aquazzura, a shoe brand started by Edgardo Osorio is know for it's chic, single soled shoes. His aesthetics, the way I see it is minimalist but with touches of glam and elegance. Olivia Palermo is a style icon to thousands of girls including me. She looks good in practically anything she wears and has gotten to be known for being a mix master (whether it's mixing prints, high and low fashion etc..). She almost always has a pair of fabulous heels on and  more often than not, is seen in Aquazzura creations. Thus a collaboration between the two was inevitable.

"Olivia basically has been our unofficial ambassador," Edgardo Osorio, the brand's designer, told WWD  "She's always wearing the shoes. We're friends and we were talking more than a year ago about a small capsule that would be Olivia's eye and aesthetic but with the Aquazzura style."

The collection features sexy stilettos, some booties and a knee high boot. Palermo has stated that this collection is basically the essential pairs that every girl could have in her closet. The designs are sexy and glam, minimalist with a lot of glamorous and chic touches. Perfectly in line with both Aquazzura and Palermo's style aesthetics!

There are six styles created for the collection. Some of the styles have two different colors. There is a gorgeous suede over the knee black boot that has some curved, textured detailing at the back part. A pair of barely there, sexy stiletto metallic sandals. Cut-out sandals that come in black and a multicolored snakeskin texture. Paneled mesh and suede pumps that has asymmetric cuts. These come in two colors, one in all black and the other in a brown textured shade. There are also suede ankle boots that come in black and gray. The piece de resistance of the collection  are the barely there ankle strap stiletto sandals. These come in a blush and black color and have some bejeweled embellishments on the ankle strap area. This was inspired by a Victorian style necklace that Palermo owned. This is also the most expensive pair in the whole collection.  Though it is said that the collection will be available in September, the bejeweled pair is already listed as sold out in the Net-a-porter site.
