Weird Shoe Wednesday...Jeffrey Campbell

Good Evening shoe lovers and Happy Weird Shoe Wednesday to you all! Today's weird shoes are these really cool Jeffrey Campbell Alleviate Platforms. It says in its description that the height of the whole shoe is twelve inches. I was almost going to gasp in shock, thinking that the heel height was twelve inches. Imagine walking on 12 inch stilts??? Anyway, to get back to the point, the actual heel height is really only 7 inches. piffle. ONLY 7 inches?? I kid, I kid. 7 inches is actually  still quite high! I cant fathom how I can even begin to walk on these!

It does also say that the platform is about 3.5 inches, so it cuts down the heel height to 3.5 inches too. But then it still makes you 7 inches away from the ground. Kind of scary. Although it would be nice to add that much to my petite height!

The curved and cut-out design of the heel makes the shoe look more interesting than it should (otherwise this pair wouldn't have qualified for a WSW post!) and the funky white, kind of athletic looking treaded sole provides more traction on the ground, therefore most probably (I'm not promising anything here!) making it easier for the wearer to walk on.

What do you guys think? Would you wear these? I personally have a teeny, tiny fear of heights so I might have to pass on this pair. I still think it's a pretty cool pair though!
